Dear Fredericka and Family,

Just wanted to give you an update on Gus, (a.k.a. Guszilla). He was born on March 19, 2003 to Maggie and Nigel. All I can say is, what a dog!!!!!! There is never a dull moment with him around. He is very attached to Chris and I and he follows us from room to room. Some of the most distressing moments in his life are when we are in different rooms and he doesn’t know who he should be with, so he runs back and forth. Even if we are outside, he stays within a ten foot radius of us. He is very affectionate and loves people…and he gets a lot of love in return. He attended puppy kindergarten and did great. At 10 months old, he is starting to develop some protective instincts and I feel very safe with him. He is a wonderful dog and we love and spoil him to death…

Regarding his health, he is doing great. At ten months he weighs in at about 140lbs. We had him neutered a couple of months ago and at the same time had a pin-hip done. The vet said that he had some of the tightest hips he had ever seen and he scored in the top 10% of his breed class. As the vet says, he’s “a quality dog, from a quality breeder.” Thanks so much for our wonderful dog…..we can’t imagine our life without him.

Best Regards,

Traci & Chris D.
