Hi!

We are the proud parents of Gus, the therapy dog, born to Neil and Allie in April of 2005. We’ve just learned that our neighbors have been added to your waiting list for a new puppy! We’re so excited for them. They have loved and admired Gus since we brought him home 4 years ago. They are a wonderful family with some of the sweetest and most well behaved children. I know they have been waiting for the right time to get a puppy and now that the kids are a bit older and can share in the responsibility of a new addition, they will be the perfect family for one of your amazing puppies!

We have talked to them about the importance of beginning to train her immediately and have offered our help with whatever they may need. Gus has had a solid year of obedience as well as having his CGC certificate. And, of course, our proudest accomplishment is his being a certified therapy dog. Chris and Catherine know that whatever questions or concerns they have, we’ll be there for them.

Just wanted to let you know that a great family will soon be the proud parents of an even greater dog!

I’ve attached a funny picture of my husband and Gus. Pardon the quality….I took the picture with my phone 🙂 The other one is Gus sitting on the ottoman, like a human would sit. Notice the little princess, Lexi, in the background….too cute! Please feel free to post these on Gus’s page if you would like.

Hope this email finds everyone happy and healthy!

Best Regards,

Kelli

Hi Fredericka and Lucy!
I sent pics of Gus the other day and forgot to include my favorite one! He’s such a handsome guy, I like to think he looks just like his dad!

Well wishes to George!
Love, Kelli

Hi Fredericka!
This is Gus (Neil and Allie, April of 2005) He is a certified therapy dog (TDI) and enjoys visiting everyone in hospitals and outpatient waiting rooms. He is especially popular at the assisted living facility where my grandmother lives. (see picture)

I could not have hand picked characteristics myself and come up with a better dog! He is the light of our lives as well as anyone who meets him. Thank you for creating our best friend!
