Hi Federicka and all at Flying W!

Yesterday was Biggins 3rd birthday!

We wanted to give you an update on how he is doing since we last spoke in July.

He was diagnosed with “Wobblers” by 2 doctors here in NY after a slip off of the bed left him pretty immobile for a few days. (wobblers is really just a name they put on his injury that they couldn’t find a name for.)

After his steroid treatment we hoped and prayed that he would be ok and since then we have made some major adjustments to his lifestyle including:The purchase of a minivan for easier travel…Lined with a twin size mattress for his comfort. Our king size mattress was out right on the floor so he could get up and down easier. He no longer goes up and down steps unless absolutely necessary HE only wears a harness…no collar to avoid any strain on his neck. A lot of extra love and kisses (that is the easiest part)

Anyway, his condition improved exponentially! He is doing really well and just more loveable than ever.

We are praying that his condition stays the same the wobblers is really just a name they put on his injury that they couldn’t find a name for. We will of course keep you posted….

After all that we have been through with him in the last few months (We brought him to 6 different vets to get opinions) we both agree we would do it again in a heartbeat. Biggins is worth every penny we spent, every minute we sat in the Vets offices, every tear we shed every second we worry about him. He is the best dog anyone could ever hope for and we love him more than we ever thought we could. We want to thank you for creating such a wonderful creature and we wish you could see the smile he brings to so many people’s face just by walking past them!

Thank you again Federicka!

Hi Everyone at Flying W!!!!!!!!!!!

I wanted to send you and update…it is almost Bigggins’ 1st Birthday!!!

He is a wonderful boy, I can’t tell you how much we love him and how lucky we feel that we got such a great dog!!

There are so many great things to say about him and so many stories we could share….But I will keep it brief… you should know that living right outside of NYC is probably the funniest part of having Biggins. He is pretty much a tourist attraction. We rarely walk through Manhattan without someone stopping us to take a picture of him or with him. He normally attracts crowds and handles them like a celebrity…a very gentle and loving celebrity at that. Central Park has to be one of his favorite places to go with all of the attention he gets!!! The best part of Biggins is that no matter where we are he brings a smile to peoples faces…friends or strangers they all smile when they see him. He really is a special dog. Again, we can’t tell you enough how much we love him and how thankful we are that you breed such a great dog. We’ll keep you posted. In the meantime, I am attaching some pictures from our recent trip to Maine…(Biggs was in heaven)

Warm Regards-

Jen & Bren G.
