Axe

Good afternoon Fredericka and family, just giving an update on Axe who is almost 1.5 years old. Can’t believe he’s already over a year old, I feel like we just got him. He’s doing really good. We started trying him in small spurts here and there being out of his crate and is doing amazingly well. He did have a small misbehaved on Friday when he decided to chew on my favorite shirt while I was working. Guess it was more my fault for leaving it out for him to get too. But all and all he is doing good with being out of his crate, but only during the day lol. We went up north couple weekends ago and didn’t take his bedtime crate, just to see how he would do and that was a mistake lol. We were up till 4am because he was whining and barking and I think it wasn’t his routine he didn’t know what to do. Plus he’s spoiled and needs the room he is sleeping in to be cool, he doesn’t like the heat and it was hot up there when we went. So lessened learned ALWAYS BRING HIS BEDTIME CRATE! 🤣 I did take him down to the lake to see how he would do and he went in with no problems.  It amazes me how they act just like kids 🤣 He loves doing things with us which I like because he’s not afraid of our toys (4-wheelers, snowmobiles). He loves chasing us when we go riding around the yard. Also wanted to let you know he goes next month to get fixed, so I’ll be sending you that information as soon as I can.   Hope you have a nice rest of the summer and I’ll send another update in a few months. Here are a few pictures that you can share on your page of Axe 💙🐶🐾

Good afternoon Fredericka and family, just wanted to send an update since today has been a full year since we brought home Axe 💙
He’s 1 years and 2 months old today, and weights 142lbs as of last Thursday. I know you hear this a lot lol but Axe is such a good boy. Has a lot of energy and always wants to play, especially in the back yard where he loves to run. He is doing great with his training and listens very well. He’s only allowed off leash in the backyard and up at camp because we are in the woods and not near the main road. We are just starting to trust him a little being out of his crate when we are not home or if I’m working. We actually trust him more because our last dog ate our counter tops at our old house so we are being a little more careful this time, lol.. But we can’t complain, he has never chewed on anything else besides his own chew toys. He met his first 5 month old baby the other day and I was surprised at how well behaved he was around the baby. Because the nice weather is finally coming back we have decided to take out his pool so he can stay cool on hot summer days. He loves ice cubes and we sometimes put some in his water bowl, he has learned to Bob the ice cubes out of the water. It’s really funny because his nose and mouth are underwater and he knows not to breath, lol. Any who I will let you guys go. I will post some pictures of Axe and I give you guys permission to put this on your webpage. Hope you guys have a nice holiday weekend.

Good Morning Fredericka and family, just wanted to give you an update on Axe who turned 1 years old yesterday 3/23/24. He is so handsome, smart and loving. He has done 4 different classes for training and we are going to continue with more starting this spring. He loves going on walks, especially when we are up at camp in Vermont because he is training to walk off leash and is doing great with that and listens very well. He loves his car rides but gets so excited and scream's out the window of excitement lol. My husband and I swear he’s part husky there lol. We got him use to the kiddie pool this summer so he could cool down on hot summers, I’m hoping he’ll enjoy it better this summer. His also new favorite thing to do it chase Daddy around on his snowmobile, he’s thankfully not afraid of it and gets upset when he’s in the house and he can hear his Daddy riding around the house and he can’t join. He still sleeps in his crate every night and when we aren’t home. I’m not sure if you guys did crate for the puppies to get them use to them but he’s been very good with crate training since the first day we brought him home. I want to thank you again for trusting us with your puppies. I’m so thankful everyday that Axe is apart of our family and made us a whole again ❤️

Hello Fredericka and family, just giving you an update on Axe since he turned 6 months yesterday, and weighs 75lbs 💙 He is doing great and just getting better and better everyday. He is an attention seeker lol, lovable, smart, and does have an attitude when he doesn’t get his way lol. He has been doing weekly training classes since we got him at 8 weeks, has graduated from one class and about to graduate another one tomorrow night and will be starting his 3rd class on the 30th He loves going to Vermont because it’s the only place where we trust him off leash for now, loves car rides and loves going to visit his Daddy at the Fire Station because all the guys there love seeing him and giving him extra scratches. We are also trying to get him use to the water because we are now looking for another home on a lake. This year for Halloween we are dressing him up as a shark because we call him our land shark and we are looking forward to Christmas. I’m not sure if I’ve told you, but I’m into photography, so I’m looking forward into taking holiday photos of Axe this year. He’s growing so fast and pretty soon he won’t be a puppy anymore, so I’m trying to take all the pictures as I can now lol. Just wanted to Thank you again for trusting us with this handsome boy that has stolen our hearts 💕 Hope you have a nice weekend and will send you another update in a few months.
