We have named our new girl Lambeau! She was introduced to everyone last night, one at a time so as not to overwhelm her. She’s fitting right in. She did a tour of the yard. She knows where the potty spot is and has not had an accident. She played for a short while (nothing too strenuous.) Mostly she sat and ‘pawed’ and barked (softly). She ate a little food last night but much more this morning. I sat with her and our dog Berlin for breakfast and they did splendidly. She slept with me and my husband, Jim all night no accidents.
In the photos you can see her with two of our dogs. Berlin looks like an older sister (in color only!) and Sahara is the spotted cattle dog.
She is a sweet, calm loving girl. She got a little scared when the wind blew our front screen door and caused the others to give a warning bark in unison. Just like most things that make noise in the house (like the ice maker) she’ll get use to it.
I will update you with photos. The girls are keeping a growth journal of her complete with pictures and milestones. We haven’t decided on her color yet. All the girls get one for their accessories (bowls, collars, leashes, blankets and more.) We love her so much and are so thankful that you trusted us to share in her life!
