Fredericka,
Hello again. Waylon is now almost a year and a half old! He is now around 180 and so long I cannot put my arms around him anymore. Sunday we took him into town for a little fair they put on, and he won “most gentle” in the pet show. He was the biggest hit, I would imagine more than 90% of the people there came by to visit him. I have included some more pictures, including one of this adorable little girl that was literally climbing all over him. All he did was roll over on his side. Again, what a great dog. He is definitely my best friend. I might be deploying to Afghanistan next year and don’t know what I’ll do without him. Maybe smuggle him on the plane?
Regards,
Jim

Fredericka,
Here are some more pictures of Waylon, maybe you can put him on your site for all to see. He has a new little sister, a silver lab. That is my wife’s dog and not near as easy as waylon was/is. I think she looks like a rat but don’t tell my wife!

Fredericka,
Here are some photos of Waylon. He is really big now, as you can see in the photos. He is a great dog, very good with kids and my best bud. These pics were taken in Colorado.

Fredericka,
Hello there. I wanted to give you an update on Waylon at his first birthday. He is fine, in great health and spirit. I did get him fixed, let me know what you need so I can receive his papers. We received orders to Victoria BC, which is a very pet friendly city. He is now about 31 inches at the shoulder, but has seemed to have gotten stuck on his weight. He has been hovering around 150 for a couple of months now, with no significant gains what so ever. This guy can eat 3 to 5 lbs of food a day easy, but hasn’t gotten to the weight I expected. The vet seems to think he is at the “gangly” teenager stage, and I agree for the most part. Any suggestions? Otherwise he is the happiest, friendliest dog I have ever known. A great guy. Thanks so much for this wonderful addition to my family.
