Hope you are all doing well. I have attached some pics of Brego’s Baloo..He has decided he is a “guard” dog…every time he hears a doorbell ring on TV he rushes around the house barking! He has a special perch on the stairway so he can look out the front door to keep an “eye” on things. My daughter often takes him for walks in the downtown area where Baloo always draws a crowd. Last time the police asked her about him while checking his tags…they thought he would make a fine companion for the officers that walk the “beat,”…not “scary” looking like a German Shepard but much more “intimidating!”
Good to hear from you.
God Bless,
Susy

Hi Fredericka and George,
Well it has taken me awhile to send off a photo of our pup born 2/20/07 by Brego out of
Rachael. His name has changed a few times — now we call him Baloo. Baloo was at the vet at eight months and weighed 120 lbs. We have learned to always clear the counters now of food — he is very resourceful and very neat. He finished off a pot roast with all the trimmings and a pizza or two. The thing that is so amazing is that although the food was gone, the dishes were exactly where we left them on the counter — licked clean – not broken or on the floor. And no crumbs in sight. Baloo is a very polite diner! He loves everyone — especially the mailman who gives him special treats.
We are working him now in a beautiful harness and will eventually train him to pull a wagon or small cart. He loves his harness and knows immediately when we put it on that it’s “training time.” He never pulls on the lead. Baloo graduated from puppy class and beginning obedience. He was never a “bully” in class and learned quickly.
We are now also training Baloo to “dance.” He is getting the hang of it and is following my lead very well. His favorite song so far is “King Of The Road” — very fitting, I think. Baloo loves his rawhide bones — so much so that he buries them all over the house! We are always buying more because he can’t find the ones he has buried. He is very entertaining.
My 21 year old daughter loves to take Baloo downtown and walk him around. She tells me that Baloo is a “guy magnet.” He gets the attention of everyone who sees him. I enjoyed seeing the pictures of “Nelson”, Baloo’s full brother. They look a lot alike. Thanks for providing such a wonderful web page of pictures. It is wonderful to be able to visit all of your beautiful dogs.
Hope All Is Well,
Susy S.
PS = Picture was taken at six months of age.
